Second floor ledgers to be grouted into a bond beam course for the second floor joists. Pictured on the right is an example of this application along with an example of three typical window openings. The window bucks are very easily placed by simply putting a deck screw through the 2x.
The last course of the building is a continuous bond beam course. A Simpson LTA2 is placed as an attachment point for engineered roof trusses. This makes installation of the roof system an effective and simple process.
