Second-floor ledgers will be grouted into a bond beam course for the second-floor joists. Pictured on the right is an example of this application, along with a sample of three typical window openings. The last course of the building is a continuous bond beam course system. Finally, a Simpson LTA2 is placed as an attachment point for engineered roof trusses. This makes installing the roof system a practical and straightforward process.
